Edmonton is only around 8.4 miles (13.5 km) north-northeast of Charing Cross Station and only 30 minutes from Liverpool Street Station.
Edmonton borders Tottenham to the south and Ponders End to the north. To the west are Bush Hill Park, Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill and to the east, the River Lea forms the boundary with Chingford.
Edmonton is part of the Borough of Enfield in North London. It is the northernmost borough of London which gives it some unique and highly desirable characteristics.
