The population of Enfield has grown steadily over the last decade. In 2021, there were approximately 329,000 people living in the Borough. This makes Enfield the 7th most populated Borough in London.
The Borough of Enfield is located 10 miles north of Charing Cross in Westminster, central London – approximately 45 minutes by public transport. To the south, the Borough is bordered by Winchmore Hill and Edmonton. To the north, you’ll also find Waltham Cross. Oakwood, Cockfosters and Monken Hadley are situated to the west of the Borough with Waltham Abbey and the River Lea to the east.

Enfield is a Borough in North London, with the town of Enfield located in the heart of the Borough approximately 10 miles north of Charing Cross. Situated between Welwyn, Hatfield and Broxbourne to the north with Haringey to the south, residents of the Borough are blessed with a myriad of public transport links. This includes a combination of Underground and Overground stations, such as the railway station at Meridian Water where residents can commute to Liverpool Street in just 24 minutes.
In October 2021, London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone was expanded to include the Borough of Enfield. Better known as ULEZ, the scheme has been implemented to address air pollution in the city of London resulting from carbon emissions.
